    U-value of an external door... if memory serves you take it as 1.8 if you don't know otherwise - is this correct?

    I seem to remember from my course that the exposed perimeter of the ground floor slab was significant yet there is no field in DEAP for this, am I overlooking something?

    And finally... (related to the last question I'm guessing) having done one of the examples from my course, the heat loss through the floor seems disproportionately high when I put in the u-value I calculated using u-valuate (.3). U-valuate doesn't factor in the thermal mass or conductivity of the ground beneath the slab and this doesn't seem right. Once again, am I overlooking something or does DEAP factor this in?
