    Hey there,

    Just trying to get cracking on my thesis

    The title is

    Brand extensions; How failures affect consumers perceptions and buying patterns

    Anyway, just a bit stuck for ideas, can anyone give me a few ideas of products they bought that they thought were not what they expected them to be.

    Perferrably I would like suggestions of products that came from a well known brand?

    The top 4 worst Brand extensions on 2008 were;

    • Burger King men’s apparel
    • Kellogg’s hip-hop streetwear
    • Kanye West trip-booking web site
    • La-Z-Boy spas

    Looking for Hi-tech products, alchohol, consumer goods etc..

    Sound,
    Darren
