Word is A3 is the best but nobody really knows if they are available still or not. Currently you cant get them online anymore but nobody knows if it's just the A3 etickets or A3 completly. You will have to wait until the day to find out I think. I'm staying in C3 myself. Don't think there will be too much going on in there.

Ouch. Looks like that is the Ryanair flight. I would have either forked out for the late flight or stayed an extra day (the flight the next evening is only €15). Hope you don't like too many acts on Sunday evening! If the flights are booked, they are booked but just imo it's just crazy - you have to rush out of the festival missing the end of the evening, you can't get too drunk and you have to travel all the way to Charleroi!

Oh FFS! I thought you were joking until i found:
The line-up for this year’s Rock Werchter has been completed. New in the line-up are Metro Station, from the US and rising star in the world of pop, and five outstanding Belgian performers, namely Arsenal (the most eclectic one), Milk Inc (the best guarantee for a great party), Triggerfinger (the loudest rockers), Lady Linn & Her Magnificent Seven (the most soulful one) and Jasper Erkens (the youngest big talent).

That's very disappointing and frankly a rather embarrassing final announcement to come from RW. Metro Station on the Main Stage!!!??? eeew

Myself and a couple of mates have bought our tickets, but there was a good few others still looking to get them. Should I start asking around at this stage for spares?? Or are they actually holding back??And yeah, Mr.S I have to agree, was really hoping they were going to blow us away with something special for the final announcements.

Did you notice the waiting list? There's no need to go third party at the moment to source tickets, get them to register on the waiting list and they should definitely get tickets! :)

Oh and the timetable of bands is up on the dutch part of the site. No major clashes for me, the only bands i want to see in the Pyramid Marque are Pedulum and The Streets :pac:

    What about Arsenal???

The only beef I have with the line up is that Nine Inch Nails are clashing with Royksopp. I guess I have to go see Nine Inch Nails but I really want to see Royksopp especially as I expect Fever Ray / Karin Andersson from the knife to make an appearance.

    cant wait for:
    PLACEBO
    BLOC PARTY
    2MANYDJS
    LIMP BIZKIT :D
    MOGWAI

I've only just noticed. It appears that Metallica are closing the whole festival.
    One Question- WHY!?

Anyone remember Faithless closing in '07- That was brilliant, not sure what it will be like with Metallica?!

Yeah, Charleroi is about 100km away from Werchter.

I would rebook your return flight for the 19:00 departure if you want to stay the Sunday night, it's less than €10 at the moment excl. baggage costs.

    Thanks for the heads up...

Ah there has to be some kind of bus service running from the thing throught he night no??
I hate Ryanair flying to the middle of nowhere lettin on to be Brussels..
Should be one of those memorable messy journeys in which all kinds of awkward moments and confusing interactions take place...

    Thanks again for the advice.

Is it true that Friday is sold out completely, and that even combi tickets from now on will not include Friday?

or could this be a temporary thing?

Can anyone recommend any hostels in Brussels or even Charleroi that may improve the "Ryanair experience"?

Evening flight on the Monday is €100+ so looking to crash that night somewhere and get cheaper flights home on the Tuesday.

Maaaaan I cannot wait for this!

I think it took me about two hours to get them. That batch might be gone but maybe there will be more, and as mentioned above somewhere it could just be the system that's not working rather than a sell-out...hope you get them!

I'd keep an eye on the Werchter forum:

Waiting list was/is for cancelled tickets.

These where general on sale tickets.

Various reasons. To combat touts, to generate hype etc etc

Looks like there is only day tickets for Thursday left.

edit: or a waiting list for the above should I say.

Tuesday is still the 7PM departure, and its €3 including ALL taxes! bargain.

Flights with ryanair are piss cheap now, its €16 return icl taxes (still have to pay for CC charge and bags) if you leave Wednesday morning and back on Tuesday

Nah man that's not right. I got flights 2 weeks ago out on the Wed morning and back on the Tues evening and it was 68.84 including CC fee. Just checked same times there now and it's 73.84.

If you go Wed night and come back Tuesday morning its 26 euro.

I would imagine the main reason for tickets going online again is a build up of refunds. Those who can't make it must refund their tickets they cannot sell them on.

Also even if people don't get tickets into the festival go any way as the campsite is seperate at €17 and there's always good craic in the campsite.

There was a ryanair sale when i posted, seems to have gone back to normal now:(

But it was deff 16€ return when i looked.

    Oh well

Seems like I missed out so. Oh well indeed. I hate when they drop prices and I miss out, didn't they always only raise the prices over time? Now you never know when to get the bloody things.
