Hey, not sure if this is in right forum but here goes. My Mam died nearly 2 months ago and im not sure if im coping very well with it, we were very close. I cant stop thinking about her and i get upset and panicky quite a bit. Also have had the same dream every night for the last 2 weeks nearly where she turns up out of the blue and turns out she was only lost, not dead. Not sure if i need any form of counselling. Wondered if anyone knew a good one and how much we talking here for one?? Cheers

Firstly, sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it is to deal with.

What county are you in? There's good bereavement counsellors all over Ireland, and afaik the rates are nominal to your means

I had the same dreams when my father died. All of this is perfectly normal part of frieving. It takes on average two years to get back to yourself again.

Im sure counselling is a good idea, I didnt go through it myself but it no doubt would have helped you get through it.
