    Howye lads,

I have an aria strat copy that i was thinking of rebuilding...
Can anyone tell me i this is worth it or should i just scrap all the parts?
(as in are the parts up to the job?)

also can anyone tell me is it possible to make a neck weighted guitar (vintge sgcopy) and make it so that it isnt neck heavy?

Why would you scrap a guitar? I've seen guitars that look like they've been run over put back together again.
IMO, no guitar should be scrapped.

Btw, what year & model is the Aria?

I don't really understand your second question. Are you asking about building an SG yourself or are you asking about fixing the neck dive on an existing one?

On the SG try a very wide strap with a rough raw leather inside. That should get you 90% there.
Or you could move the strap button to the tip of the upper horn a la Tommi Iommi. (sacrilege IMHO)

theres nothing particulary wrong with it and i didn't mean scrap it literally :D

But its a begiiner guitar and iwas wondering if i could upgrade the pick ups or something just to get a unique sound?
