As the league coming to the boil now, there is 4 teams in contention to win the league, Noggin Inn have led for most of the season, but over the last month they have let him the other 3 teams into contention, Farm Blue have won there last 3 games which has seen them join the Noggin Inn top with 39 points, behind them Fitzpatricks with a game in hand against the ramblers could see them close the gap to 1 point, Farm Red have made a push for a place in the Monday with good wins against balally and Igo Inn last week to put them onluy 2 points behind.

As you see there are several upsets that could happen, with the Farm Blue and Fitzpatricks match called off tomorrow due to the cup replay.
THe two other teams will look to seal wins away to Magic Carpet and The Igo.

    Matches Remaining

Farm Blue (Fitzpatricks (H), Silver Tassie (A), McKennas (H), Magic Carpet (A), Lough Inn (H), Enniskerry (A)

Noggin Inn (Igo (A), Kozie (H), Balally (A), Robbins (H), Clancys (walkover), Farm Red

Farm Red (Magic Carpet (A), Robbins (H), Lough Inn (A), Clancys (walkover), Enniskerry (A), Noggin Inn (H)

    Fitz (Farm Blue (A), Ramblers (H,A), Igo (A), Kozie (H), Balally (A), Robbins (H)

When it comes to picking from teams its very hard.

I think Gary and Shane from the Farm Red have been excellent through the year, Jimmy and Paul from the Farm blue, Jay from the Lough Inn, Jay Devlin from Fitzpatricks, Andrew Lacey from Noggin Inn, Mick Judge from Robbins, Damo Kelly from Igo, there the ones this year that i have noticed playing really well through the year.

I say alot of lads were put there names forward on this, i think position in the team and the pressure should come into the selection as well.

On another Topic, if the Farm Blue get through which i think they will, i can see a farm semi finals, it will be shame but thats darts.

yeah agree wit you on most of your selections you could have twenty players from tues never seen so many young good players in the one season in the tues always one or two finds every year this year there are ten or twelve few of us oldies still around to.Shame if it was farm blue farm red semi that would be one hell of a final no matter who won would be great for the farmhouse

Really happy with the draw, to be honest once we didnt get the farm team, what a final it could be, but the enniskerry team and fitzpatricks wont be easy.

I'd go for an all farm final the red's have some of the best young players i've ever seen in the brough as for the blue's you can't beat experience and they have that in ben fitz johnny andrews paul corrigan and jimmy mcguinness

sorry paul, ste, willy and clive all signed 5 year contracts with the tassie with the option of 2 year extension.it'd cost about €150,000,000 to get them back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭S.T.D Ste

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 804 ✭✭✭paulcorr
