    To wait another 3 months.

    give it 3 more months

You realise that to be an actual prediction it has to specify a time and an event.
    I'm not seeing either.

So why 3 months? Why not specify the event now?

    give it 3 more months

    Sure. Happy to.

Could you explain, though, why you've changed from wanting us to wait 3 weeks instead of what will amount to 4 months?

What has led you to change your understanding of the prediction? What has led you to choose another 3 months, instead of another month...or another 6 months?

What if "it" has already happened but "them" are hiding it from us?

    Mississipi? Liffey? Ganghes?

May 11th, major collapse of the banks predicted.

Is that predicted to happen on the 11th, to start on the 11th, or to become clear sometime within an indeterminate period after the 11th that there is some link to the 11th?

Have you any links to back that up?

So we have the banks collapsing on May 11th?

As bonkey said are they going collapse on that date or start collapsing?

Will we be able to falsify this claim on 11th of May?

Which US banks are going to collapse or is it all of them?

    Bets?

    Where?

This whole thread is more confusing and contains more bull****e than an episode of Lost.

I'm actually surprised this thread is open.

I would politely ask for it to be closed. This thread is junkmail. It bears no relevance to reality
    1. It never happened
    2. It's a scare tactic
    3. It's caused more of us to bull**** about it.
    4. it's in the past
    5. It's still in the past
    6. If we have learnt anything good, there is nothing more to learn.

Mysterious and Noopti - there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to complain about threads. I suggest you both switch from the latter to the former approach.

I wasn't complaining about the thread being present, or asking for it to be closed. I think you misunderstood my post.

Can I come back to you on the 17th? Seems to be the way it works.

The "predicted" date is coming up soon.

Think we'll actually have a specific event predicted or are we to use our imaginations like the last time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,184 ✭✭✭nyarlothothep

well if nothing happens inside a month I'll accept his predictions are worthless.

So it's passed the predicted date and nothing happened (unless he was referring to Scrubs being renewed for another season.)

Or are we to wait for another non specific date for another non specific event?

    May 16th will be rainy.

    I was correct.

So nothing unusual on the DOW then.
    Or anywhere for that matter.
