Thanks humberklog - that was taken with a d3. converted in LR and a bit of PS.

It was actually a quick grab while setting this up...(same skylight)

Interesting, I looked it up but couldn't find anything similar to them with that name. When I was taking pictures of this guy I thought it was odd that he wasn't moving, but on close inspection it turned out he was covered in those little insects, there were four or five on each of his back legs.
