Any one have any advice on buying a new one or how get a head thats complementry to the ec2's. I am playing rock and enjoy stamping on my peadals.

The closest are the emad bass heads that have external dampening that you can change. Theres nothing wrong with sticking a standard 2 ply head on either though.

Ditto on the EMAD. Or try an EQ3. Both Evans.
