Finglas Population

20,000 does seem wildly low alright.

A quick google throws up this article from Roisin Shorthall dated in 2008 where she estimates the population at 50,000. No Data in the article to back this up though. I would have thought 50,000 was a low estimate too, although I regard all the new developments as being part of Finglas, despite their well to do postcodes and townland names. It seems that the more developments and the more people moving into the area, the smaller "Finglas" gets.
