Anyone ever been to La Gomera? Am looking for a week in the sun to do very little, maybe a small bit of hiking, just wondering what the islands like and where might be the best place to stay?

The Jardin Tecina is a popular 4 star hotel - it's in the Falcon brochure - you fly to Tenerife and get the ferry from Los Cristianos across to the island. It's meant to be a great place for hiking and exploring but it's quite quiet compared to the other Canary Islands. It depends on what you're looking for out of your holiday really.

La Gomera is a gem in the Atlantic. The people are so friendly and the island itself is full of history, breathtaking scenary, and peace and tranquility. A perfect island for a relaxing and hiking holiday.
