When I'm writing a long piece on the TV forum (like my TV Show of the Week threads), it can take an hour or more to write and fine tune.

I'd love an option on the Thread Management panel of newthread.php to "Post as WIP", which would hide it from the general populace until its finished (essentially posting it as "Unapproved"). The option should only be available to moderators on forums that they moderate, for obvious reasons. It means I could leave something as Work in Progress and come back to it later to review before posting it for real.

Its a "nice to have" rather than a "must have" (there's always notepad!) :)

Can't you just create the thread, soft delete it and then edit away to your heart's content before restoring it.

Yep, but it'll pop up on the front page.

Ah OK, I'll shut up now. :D

Great it as a PM and then just copy / paste to the thread when finished?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
