    I have recently started watching Fair City and i have become a secret addict even though i don't have a clue whats going on half the time.

    A while back during the "Big Money Game on Family Fortunes" Les Dennis asked one of the contestants to name a TV Soap - she replied Dove. Only I was watching it I would never have believed it.... (just to say when he read the question for the next contestant he said name a TV Soap Opera.....)

    i apparently voted Fair City but i should really have gone for Hollyoaks. there are times when i get really bored with FC but there's always something comically ridiculous going on in HO.. i rarely miss an episode of either though.

    Coronation Street.

    It was the first soap that i ever saw and I have been following it for years. Unfortunately, I lost interest in Fair City. Occasionally I watch Ros na Run. I stopped watching Eastenders a long time ago because it is so dismal and the characters are miserable.

    What I like about Corrie is that everyone is larger than life. Most of the time the acting is superb. I love the relationship between Becky and Roy/Hayley. Some of the story lines at the moment are not great, such as Tony and Maria. I love Rita to bits. How could anyone get up so early to sort out newspapers for the shop with the impecable hairdo and makeup.
