How long should foreplay take? I know you should take your time and tell your partner what you like but I can't seem to get aroused/naturally lubricated, it's just so dry. Really getting me down at this stage. I have vaginal problems which I've been to the hospital about and I'm on the Pill so maybe this is the reason?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or sounds silly.

Then why not go buy some lube, it is the most basic sex toy there is, it comes in many different types, feels and flavours.

Are you turned on? I know it sounds like a no brainer but you'd be surprised how many people think they 'should' be turned on by something and when they're not assume its a medical condition that they are not getting wet.

If you are turned on and the foreplay is what you're into then you might be right about the pill. I have heard this can cause dryness. As the other poster said, get some lube and work from there. You can get that Durex light and silky one from most chemists.

Also, if you're telling your partner what you like and he/she isn't quite getting yer drift, why not do it yourself? You can probably get yourself turned on a lot quicker than your partner can so throw that into the mix and see if that works for you during foreplay.

Some pills can affect the hormone that induces wetness in females.

Could be the pill you are on.

So, go and buy a big ol' tube o' lube and have at it.

Can't be good for either of you to have a friction burn in your nether regions.

Also, get him to a bit of oral on you.

Foreplay - The longer it lasts the better the sex. Dont make a limit on time. As for dryness there is loads of lube out there. There is even one shaped like a penis. Now there is a great laugh I would say.

I imagine you are not having sex for long which might also explain the dryness.

The trick is to make it as fun and as exciting as possible to you both granted this seems obvious.

There is no set time that it should take. The popstar Sting spends about five hours on foreplay, for instance. I say live and let live. If he is not harming anyone else, then leave him to it.

Grapefruit juice is good for encouraging the natural wet stuff. Also for the first half of the month use Evening Primrose Oil and flaxseed oil for the remainder, its good for it too.

Make sure you are drinking enough water, very important. Fruit and veg important too.
    Vitamin e helps loads too.

Make sure you dont have any type of infection, your doc can advise.

This started to happen to me to recently too. My bf goes at me very quick and a lot so I kind of started anticipating being touched without being wet first and got nervous and this makes the problem worse.

Its a bit of a vicious circle sometimes, but get the man to slow down a bit if you can.
