YouTube has become a very useful tool for me lately when trying to track down forgotten dance music. It shouldn't be seen as copyright breach at all. If it wasn't for the people who put the time in uploading their collections then these tracks would be a distant memory. All they are doing is keeping them alive by providing a valuable resource for music collectors and reminding people of how great some of these tracks were and still are.

does it not also help y/t grow, when people u/l videos and others view.

    it's there loss also.

YouTube only acts on complaints made by copyright holders etc ..
They are not losing out as new users join everyday and probably millions of videos are uploaded everyday. They are not interested in monitoring what music is uploaded, it is the labels that have the upper hand because they own the rights or whatever to the music and YouTube are hosting these vids for free access so they have to remove your account etc when receiving a complaint.

Anyone got Funkydory - Good Times? I'm after the Tony de Vit or Andy Farley mixes.. Not the 1996 versions though, the original which was on Fantazia House Collection Vol 2...

    Cheers!

lads...like everyone im a nostalgic freak for these tunes/raving days, i wish i had the words to express what it meant/means to us all..it cuts deep to the bone and the fact that in dublin even today we have 2 pirate stations bangin' out mostly the classics from this special era digital/crash says it all..what other scene from the past has this driving force behind it, its incredible.....

    IT REALLY "WAS" A REVOLUTION.....
peace. love. and respect to all the ravers /dj's/clubs .
