Good club for mainstream-ish indie/rock

    Basically I'm looking for a place that plays upbeat danceable rock-type music (the type that's good for jumping around to). I don't mind a bit of dance if it's good, but from experience clubs that call themselves "indie/electro" tend to use the "electro" tag to play absolute ****e for 3 hours.


    I went to "chemistry" in spy/wax once and i just stayed upstairs in spy and it was perfect. Although i've been told "chemistry" is no longer going.

    any ideas?

    That's hit and miss in my opinion. Drinks promos are great though and the bouncers are sound.

    Got a flyer on Tuesday night for a new "indie-ish" night called "cooler than you" it's on Thursday nights in The Underground@Kennedys on Westland Row

    theirs decent bands climbing out of the woodwork on the outskirts of town... the local pub Has become town since the recession
