    Hi All

I'm meeting up with some friends one evening this week for a few drinks and a casual bite to eat. Can anyone recommend a pub/bar that does good food but is not formal in the city centre please?

Problem I find with the porterhouse temple bar is they blast up the music way too loud ... making it very hard to have a chat

+1 on the Market Bar on Fade Street, unless it's Thursday night when it's mad busy.

for food as said grand central and porterhouse are good.sometimes we go captain americas for food.nice big portions and a full bar and once your grub is finished theres loads of nice pubs in the immediate area for a few casual drinks-kehoes,sheehans,sinnotts,hairy lemon,o donaghues etc.
