Hey does anyone use rainmeter to mod there desktop?

There is some cool mods about - http://lifehacker.com/5170413/the-windows-2019-desktop

I made this to update my windows 2000 a bit. Looks a lot better and lets me get rid of the start menu.

    I used:

    Rocketdock
    Icalender
    Startkiller
    Rainmeter
    Stacks docklet

Does anyone know how I could change my folder icons on the desktop so they don't look so ancient?

would it not just be as easy as downloading an icons pack like this

That desktop looks class, I might sit down this evening and give some of that a go
