    Can anyone recommend a good book (or other resource) to learn slide guitar?

    I used his DVD's and they are great, best rescourse out there for slide.

    Also biggest thing in slide: heavy heavy strings (.14 on high E) and high action

    A great (pay) site I came across is www.guitarmasterclass.net

    Costs about E7 a month, and covers a HUGE amount of styles and techniques, theory, everything. Gives perfect tablature, video lessons, backing tracks at various speeds and suits every level of guitarist especially the "advanced" breed.

    There'd definitely be some stuff on slide in there, and you can check out some free lessons & stuff to get a feel of how the site operates.

    My alternate picking technique and little finger strength has come on in leaps and bounds, next on the (very long) list will be vibrato for me.

    Challenges for life in there! :D
