Can you put any tailpad on any shortboard ???

I bought a new 6'6 shortboard recently and was advised to put a tailpad on it, but i dont know if i can just buy any one and stik it on. Does anyone know ???

Pretty much! If the surfboard hasnt been waxed just line it up with the stringer and slap it on! About an inch up from the leash plug. If its been waxed you need to clean the wax off and deck before putting it on.
