Lol WWE selling tickets above face value to their own show. Is that even legal?

Ah but you see they arn't! Its a package and so it can have any price that wwe want to put on it! Just like the packages we bought - add up the ticket prices, hotel prices, and goodies and it ain't even near what it would cost individually!

... and it's still nowhere near worth the money for the abortion of a card they're putting on this year.

But on the plus side, the chair might be nice, but i can just break into K-N-N's house and take it if i reall want one that badly. ;)

Well you could save the hassle of going all the way to Ireland and try and steal mine.

Ah this again. I'm not actually in Wales, but I am a massive Torchwood fan, hence the address. Was in Llandudno earlier this year for a weekend though and loved it though. ;)

So nicking K-N-N's one would be a lot easier especially as he's about six bus stops away from me or a 50 minute walk (and the reason i know that is cos he used to have his real location under his icon ;) )

You know what, after all the bitching I did earlier in the week, it could end up being the Mania with some of the best matches ever (please go along with this as I am hating the fecking card more and more everyday!);)

    I understand your mentality.
I'd probably try to convince myself it would be good too, if i spent several thousand on the trip for it.

I really like the card personally. Could be a bit better yes, but overall am happy with it. I wasn't pumped at all for last year's but ended up loving it. I think everyone will grow to like it when the time actually comes.

Right now, I'm looking forward to the week in Orlando more...surely that shouldn't be the case when you are going to Mania?! But, sadly thats the way I feel. But sure, heh, its a holiday and the event itself will be great to be at...I'm still holding out that there will be big shocks and surprises at Mania.:)

I am actually the opposite...I loved every match on the card last year...there was build up for a start! This year seems to be badly thought out and very last minute.

I really do apologise if sound a big smug in all of this, but my reasons are valid (see what i did there?)

Basically I was actually supposed to go. It had been planned since last summer and even if the card sucked, I wouldn't have cared cos it would have been a week off with a few lads and would have been able to explore the sights of Texas.

But by the time ticket sales were going ahead, our place turfed out a number of contractors, myself included, and with another (non wrestling) event taking place a couple of weeks after it, i changed my mind and went to that. A couple of other mates gave me a bit of a slagging about it and are still going (was actually going to be going with a different crew, so i don't know why it bothered them as such).

So obviously now, they're all pissed. Because they "feel like a brolly" as i've used to term it. They're not happy that they've spent all the money thinking they were getting a card like a lot of the previous wrestlemania's. And i've been letting the c*nts have it ever since.

So the digs aren't particularly at anyone here, but i do feel like i have dodged a bullet. :)

I agree that in years past the card has been pretty much solidified with at least 4 weeks until the show. They've been chopping and changing it a bit this year with Vince's hatred for leaked news. But last year for me on paper none of the matches stood out, except for maybe Flair's last match but that didn't really mean as much to me as it did to most of you guys who followed Flair in his prime.

By the time of the show though, I loved it. Wrestlemania babey! Just watching a wrestling show in a 70,000+ stadium does it for me. Amazing.

Oh I understand your validreasoning! behind it! Its gonna be a great experience regardless, but I just wish the wwe had of put more thought into it all. And I'm now famous! - "feel like a brolly!" - :D

Fair enough, but you can't tell me that when you're watching it from home on April 5th you won't be wishing that you're there ;) 'Dodging a bullet' seems like a very drastic term to use!

Sure it's just to show the layout. I hope the roof isn't open anyway!

Yeah I'd say so...I'd prefer a closed roof as the noise is more intense. That and I don't want a big fecking structure over the ring blocking my view!

Nope, because i'll be at an event three weeks from then that will mean more to me and will cost me a fraction of the price. :D I'm sure the atmosphere in Houston will be amazing, but the price tag just isn't worth it, not for me anyway.

Agreed. Watching videos of the Wrestlemania 23 opening pyro on YouTube makes my mouth water.

Whoa, looks like I gots me a stalker.

    6 bus stops away?
    50 minute walk?
    Breaking into my house?

Is that you outside my window now?

Stalker? Don't flatter yourself, kid. You dump your personal details all over the internet that a 3 year old would find you looking for a soother! :)

Nah, but one 17a bus journey away will leave me close enough.
