    Roland VG-88 V-Guitar System - RRP €1349 - €499

 not bad at all if that's correct

Yea its not bad sale, think all stock has 15% off and then other special offers as well. There was a Stingray down to €1,300 odd from €1,899 and some other guitar related stuff which I didn't really take much notice of :o

Picked up a Boss ME-50B for just under €200, which is about €20 cheaper than Thomann and music store.

I was there on Saturday, picked up this little ( well, quite big actually! ) beauty :

    http://www.ariausa.com/basses/swblitebis.html

for €749, reduced from €999 ( and there was an older €1199 price sticker on it too ).

Thomann have the cheaper version ( SWB-Lite One ) for €1099. Needless to say I'm a very happy camper...

I know, I've seen that thread, but thankfully anytime I've been there they've been open. They've never really been that busy either, though there were a few people there on Saturday.

I do hope sometimes closing, not always being busy and 25% sales aren't a sign that they're struggling. Going to a bright, airy, spacious music shop with friendly staff, who don't make you feel inferior just 'cos you weren't born with a guitar in your hands, makes a nice change and I'd hate to see them struggle.

As for the Bass, I'm delighted with it! I'd tried it a few times and I eventually decided that I'd part with the €999. To then find out it was €749 was a very pleasant surprise! I'm now working on getting used to playing it, after nearly 20 years of playing standard fretted Basses...
