Alternative to STI clinic?

    ok..i have a big reason for not wanting to attend the above listed sti clinic in my area..

    i do however want to get checked out..

    my question is is it possible for a gp or another clinic to administer the test and then send it off to some testing crowd? if so does anyone know what its likely to cost?

    Yes it is possible for a gp who is trained and offers the service to do most of the tests
    and send them off or for you to travel and attend a clinic further away from home.

    I agree with the above, see your GP or travel to another clinic.

    You would have to pay the normal attendance fee plus the testing fee too.

    As far as I know any 'Well-Woman' clinic will also do sti tests, for men and women and the results are kept private from your regular G.P.
    Also if you hold a medical card this service is free of charge.

    Its approx 200 for the full sti check in any well woman clinic!!!!!
