Leaving Amp in Shed after practice

    I'm just wondering if leaving my amp (laney tt50) out in a shed after jammin with the lads could cause any problems to it, because one of the lads mentioned it being slightly damp out there at night.

    A drum kit is left out there constantly and nothing ever happens to it, apart from the odd bit of bird s*** and it holds up well.

    Thanks

    dampness = neddy no no

    take it inside or something when its not being used, cold and dampness is not good for amps especially class A ones

    yeah dampness=dead amp.

    not only that you should be worried about safety,if dampness gets inside and leaves resedue theres the possibility of a nasty shock.

    Ah no, sure... that's what fuses are for. :pac:

    The drums, incidentally, must be more glue than wood if they've been in damp repeatedly and haven't changed shape by now.

    Anyway, you already know it's a bad idea, that's why you posted. ;) The electronics will probably be grand as long as they're dry when you fire it up. But the speaker cone will be ****ed at the first sign of damp.

    Yeah have to agree, its a terrible idea.

    Surely there is room in the house for it unless your house is the box the amp came in.
