Testosterone Deficiency

    Hi there,

I have heard these ads on the radio over the past few weeks that more or less describe me.

    - Lack energy
    - Work suffers due to tiredness / lack of energy
    - I feel down more often than my usual happy self.
    - Decrease in libido

The ad goes on to say that these may be due to Testosterone deficiency.

Doctors & me don't go well together - they scare the hell out of me. I am trying to build up the courage to go to one but in the meantime, I wanted to know if any other lads had ever got this checked out. What's involved in the treatment? Was there a noticeable improvement with treatment.

I have no idea if this is what is wrong with me but everything seems to be pointing that way. I am never sick but I know I have to go to a doctor to find out for sure about this and I will go soon. But I would be grateful for any information people may have from experience.

    Thank You.

I'm sorry, have to close this as medical advice is inevitable with any replies. I will say this, that what you describe could be down to any number of medical issues or "simple" tiredness or just general lack of fitness. The only way you're going to get to the bottom of this is to see a doctor. So bite that bullet and go to one. It's a good habit to get into as well.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.
