Just saw a thread there where a girl obviously spent a while typing it out and how distressed she was she was considering suicide. Now I know professionals are the best people to help but it still seems a little harsh to just put up a phone number and lock the thread I mean, PI is heavily modded anyway and even if people…

Now I know professionals are the best people to help but it still seems a little harsh to just put up a phone number and lock the thread

I mean, PI is heavily modded anyway and even if people were able to just give a few words of encouragement (no specific advice) it could still make a difference to the person

Maybe its alegal thing, I dont know, it just seems a little harsh to lock the thread like that

If you desire to comment on the moderating policy of PI, then please do so in the Feedback forum.

We are not trying to demean your opinion here, or sideline it, but we ask that all such discussion take place outside PI.
