Electric Accoustic 600

    I'm looking to buy an electric accoustic guitar in Dublin over the coming days. I've been playing guitar for 10 years but have had the same ol accoustic Samick I got from the states back in 98. Would anyone recommend a decent electric accoustic for around the 600 euros mark and where is the best place in terms of price and variety in dublin? Thanks...

    Check out XMusic out by the red cow in naas, thay have a good selection of guitars up there, you should have a look around the site www.xmusic.ie

    With regards to looking for an acoustic, best bet is to visit the shop and play everything in there, you'll eventually click with one. They can vary in tone and quality so much that its hard to suggest a particular model!

    Thanks for the advice Zangetsu about Xmusic. I called in there last week to have a look around, its a very impressive store. I ended up buying a Takamine semi accoustic which was originally priced at 1100 but there is currently a 25% sale on guitars in the store until this friday coming so if anyone else out there is hoping to pick up a guitar soon this is def the place to go...
