Most of my IDF gear arrived today, to replace the fatigues I had but were in tatters. My Yahalom beret arrived too... a weekend too late. As it happened I couldn't make it so there was no harm done.

Except... now I'm trying to log into the UFC website to buy that Tavor at the inflated $800 price because I'm sick of waiting and I'm kitted out for all but it.

Which brings me to the point of this post; has anyone actually tried to log into their site? It's been loading now for at least 10 minutes and gotten nowhere but a black screen with partially loaded images. I highly doubt they'll be making many sales between the price and the insanely slow server they seem to be on.

Any chance of a pic dex...did you get IDF boots too? im thinking since i done a turkish load out, i might do an IDF one next...were the pieces expensive?

Scratch that, apparently UFC don't actually sell the Tavor yet. That's just where the video is hosted. There isn't one single link to a Tavor on the entire site. After a sickening amount of time wasted on that site loading each page, I'm incredibly miffed by this occurrence.

Nah, I skipped on the boots because I like my comfort and my Magnums give me that. I didn't bother to complete the loadout entirely, I just replaced the fatigues (about $50 for the shirt and the same for the pants), got a new beret and some patches. Had I been fortunate/silly enough to buy that Tavor today, I'd have put another order into the IDF crowd and gotten a proper vest.
The Beret, incidentally, was only $20 and came with the metal insignia pin (which I almost bought separately for $8 until I read the small print and noticed it was included).

Zahal, they just do IDF stuff and are based in Israel so it's proper real-deal gear. Great store, gotten plenty of bits off them. Delivery is always a week, give or take a day, since they use EMS. Highly recommended if you're after IDF stuff.

It doesn't get much more Gucci than a dedicated sub-forum. It might start a dangerous precident though. First it's a Gucci forum, then the CA fanboys will want a password protected one so they can talk about their ill-fated purchase unharassased. AK lovers will want an area to hide away from the 21st century and polymers, which will force Armalite users to get their own so they can coordinate flaming attacks in the AK forum and compare the size of each others rails. AUG fanboys will demand one then, because they're a needy bunch. All three FAL lovers will probably not demand a forum but everyone else will, so there's somewhere to shuffle them off to.
Various teams will start wanting their own threads, which will never happen due to them bailing at the last minute.
Adverts will need a sub-forum of it's own dedicated to thread spoiling, since it's a new and alarmingly popular sport which may one day rival airsoft.
Bailers will want a forum to discuss chairs, blankets and types of soup.
A forum will be needed for the keyboard warriors to vent at each other (with a 160 character limit since they speak in txt language anyway).
Kev will have to have his own forum to indicate just how few people listen to his ramblings. Especially since he joined the txt brigade above.

NOIP for example uses the scent glands of his victims, freshly squeezed.

I believe O1s1n cellotapes bayleaves under his arm pits - it doesnt stop the sweating but makes him smell pleasantly of soup.
