    sorry if its been posted b4

    i pay €95 a month for setanta and sky and with the hard times comming i was wondering whats the state of play with these boxes ?? i heard about them moving to nagravison 3 and they will all be useless then is this true ???

    i will try see if sky will reduce cost , tell them im going to ntl etc and hope the lower it

    or i actually do go with ntl , phone , broadband package

    or a dreambox

    decent feedback would be appreciated

    Nobody knows exactly what is going to happen with sky yet or when exactly a change will be made. From what I heard the change will happen fairly soon (whatever that means). It is a matter of waiting and seeing.

    A dreambox will only allow you to view sky with a valid sky card.

    Sky will be changing cards soon, but they'll still be NDS Videoguard, same as it always has been since Sky digital began. They don't use Nagravision.

    BTW, any notion of discussing hacking Pay TV is not allowed - read forum rules.
