Ok, so I am just going to post the one thread for what i want to post.

im not sure whether we can post for sale items (so admins, mods..im sorry if we can't)

    *edit*nevermind ...add gone
ok so now that thats out of the way

I want a new amp, im currently playing through an Me-50 and the smallest of the Roland Micro Cubes, now that im playing gigs i want something to push the sound out as i am fed up of usin other peoples gear.

I was advised towards a valve amp or a big combo amp but to stay away from Stacks....

Im willing to spend about the guts of €700 and it really only needs power, my me-50 gives me the sound i need...
I am also going to buy a new guitar, i was looking at some form of hollowbody guitar such as a Gretch or Gibson, i know both brands cost a shiny penny but im not an expert on that form of guitar.

I know Caleb Followills is one i would love to own but that would cost the price of a house im sure, think its a gibson '76

Anyway yeah any advise on any of these would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you're looking for a tube amp just to use as a platform for the ME-50, then a fender twin is the best you'll find. It's a 100 watt valve amp, it has insane amounts of clean headroom and it's a big combo :).

The unfortunate part though, is that it's 300 squid out of your price range :(

Hiwatts and mid 60's marshalls would also work, but none of these fit into your price range :o.

You should keep an eye on E-bay for a used fender twin, or a silverface fender princeton. Most old fenders and reissues have good headroom, and are known for their clean tones. If you can find one for under 700€ that is :o.

    Yeah?

ya see ive been advised that fender have gone to rack and ruin?

i was playing through a fender 100 watt awhile ago im not sure what it was but it had a kinda silverish whitey kinda canvas on the front and was leatherbound...i hated it!

i have played through one of my friends behringer amps lately and loved it...
