Can you get fluconazole OTC?

    Here in the UK, you can get generic fluconazole over the counter in a pharmacy. In Ireland, my doctor prescribes Diflucan for me when she prescribes antibiotics, which is fairly expensive. Fluconazole was much cheaper OTC and I'm just wondering if you can get it OTC in Ireland too, or if you have to get a prescription from your doctor for a Brand Name version?
