    Funny I might have taken Steph up on that offer, and I wouldent have thought to go look on adverts.ie for a copy of COD.

    I've mainly been playing MW on the PS3, I gave WAW a good go but haven't really gotten into it...it's just not that great.

    Am now migrating to MW on the PC tomorrow hopefully, providing Play ship as expected because the online setup on PSN is appalling.

    Give CoD4 a go on the PC! You'll love it! Forget about WaW altogether IMO... Especially on PC!

    Played COD3 to death on 360, got COD4 recently and played it a fair bit. The (standard) maps are too small for my liking its all too CQB and rushed.

    Are the DLC maps any bigger?

    Old School! Tried giving CoD1 and CoD2 a go the other day (they were still installed on my old HDD that I have as a slave!) but I need the CD-Keys for them... And the games are in the attic...

    cod2, in my eyes most funnest/addictable fps game ive ever played + it has a nice skill curve unlike cod4

    CoD1 was better than CoD2 in my opinion. Yeah the graphics are poo compared to CoD2 & 4 but it was so accurate it was unreal!

    Back then you could get a proper headshot with one bullet with on MP44 and it felt so bloody satisfying! And the Kar98K was the dog's bollix! What a game!

    I tried to go back to COD2 as well a while back and while the graphics are still very good the game itself (in terms of MP) feels a bit too simple. I much prefer World at War. Though I prefer the Normandy themed levels in COD2.

    It just seems to be that anyone who doesn't have a preference doesn't like it, but those who prefer WW2 titles (like me) generally love World at War.

    if you ever played any fps game at any fairly decent level, you would know its the simplicity of any fps game which makes it good, look at css, its based on aim/gamesense not some dumb**** perks which if the game was gonna be played competitively in any way would be modded out anyway, game looks **** and is way to hardware demanding for what it offers + it still isnt a finished version with patches coming out releasing things that should of been there from the start. Look at the cod community atm, everyone plays cod4 yet since the begining mods have been coming out to make it more and more like cod2

    I'm playing it as well, the single player at the moment. It's brilliant, miles better then SP in COD4 in my opinion. Very cinematic. Might play it on live, though I doubt it when I've World at War on my PC.

    haha :P Nah Cod4 got boring, in the end it comes down to who spends the most time learning sky nades and spam spots.

    I've been playing COD4 on PC for a few days now and I have to say it is so, so, so, so much better than the PS3 version.

    Even in terms of the amount of ****ty campers populating TDM/HTDM the PC version absolutely kicks PS3s ass.

    I am playing COD5 because i could never get into COD4,it just wasnt my type of game,but i am hooked onto COD5,every thing about that game is good
