Impossible to say but I think they'd go beyond that. C13 Had an intake in November if memory serves?

I got in first time too... think we are the luckiest people alive. I got the call on thursday and im hoping the pack will come today.. dont wanna hand in my notice til i have it!

Yeah i'v been lucky and got in first attempt too. Everyone busy making holiday plans for March then? I hope we get our info packs in the post today.

The letters went out today so prob get them on thursday... i had to phone up and speak to someone and she mentioned they left this morning so prob 2moro or thurs we'll all get them! i dont think ive ever been so excited about receiving a letter!

It's a rule that's in effect by pretty much every forum on boards. It's not bebo, and most of the people that frequent here are intending to become police officers. Get out of the habit of using it now, because you'll be crucified if there is even one instance of it in any of your paperwork.

I got in first time too, got the phone call last Thursday so looking forward to getting the pack! Was starting to think the call was never gonna come.... Found out end of January (when I phoned the recruitment department as I was going out of my mind) I had just passed vetting, non-RC and <25 on merit list in case anyone was going to ask!

Congratulations to everyone else who I'll be seeing on 30th March, and good luck to those who might still be waiting. I've only just found this forum today and am starting to get an idea of how confusing this intake process seems to be, but thank goodness I don't need to worry anymore - heading off to Africa on Friday for a nice wee break before handing in my notice and checking into Garnerville!!

fair enough point. But i do think that people genuinely dont know thats they case when they join/post on a public internet forum!
Im sorry if my views seem misplaced but i dont believe in the whole public scolding thing. I dont see it as showing respect or patience, especially since everybody has done it at some point from what i can see. maybe its best to pm people in such instances

But I know that the mods have a job to do. Ive just seen non-mods do it in the past and it pure annoys me haha!

i just didnt think that was very welcoming to Mr or Mrs Bantowncop when it could have easily been said in a pm. (Don't mean to criticise but as a new mod PYG I'm sure you'll understand its only meant to help you out). manys a time i've had to re-read a post to see what folk are on about because of the text and nothing has ever been said by any moderators!!

if I did have something to complain about on here it'd be when people say "i pm-ed you" in a post when its gonna be very obvious to whoever it was meant for that you have done. Well thats my 2 cents.
