Not enough pubs near these new shopping centers that are always out of town. I would not moan and groan about a visit to the shops if i were able to relax and she would be happy in the knowledge i was being looked after by trained staff.

There are quite a few units becoming vacent in shopping centres these days, think Zavvi in blanch! Now you know what to do with one of them! If only I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat!

    Sorry, not following you.

    What's stupid about a pub?

    Excellent idea.

It would be cool if it was in the middle of a shopping centre so the wimmin gets escorted to the hub of shops and gets a hand carrying all the bags out again. This could then transform into a chain carried out in every shopping centre, there should also be a games room in it so they can get their game fix!

I think there was a small one in Liffey Valley, with games consoles and big screens, smack bang in the middle (opposite the food court, AFAIR). Though it didn't server any beer. Hence why I don't think it is there any more.

It has to be a classy affair though with comfy leather chairs and you don't want it to be like an arcade with loads of noise and neon lights. More like a home from home!

“I just got the idea out of my head.
    Smart fella.

    And worse - kids.

Although kids aged over 25 would be allowed. :D

I see a fatal flaw with that particular establishment! Here's how I see it working, have you ever been to Hooters in the states? There's your staff uniform sorted out! Games consoles and interweb stations. Have you ever been stuck in a doctors waiting room? Remember all those *shudder* magazines they have on the table? Think of a collection comprising the exact opposite! All day rasher and sausage sambos! A delivery service provided from any other food establishment in the centre to this establishment to provide for dietary varience! A waiting area for the wimmins once they come back from the shopping while you finish off that sambo\pint\game\article!

    Jobs a good 'un!

Are you familiar with the term "Fire and Brimstone"?

All you have to do is put in a few more big screens, a few consoles and more Eastern European totty.

    No planning permission required.

And a plague or two with bit of pestilence.

Maybe I should just tumble it and build a new jail for all the bankers. That's going to be one area of huge growth. :pac:

where would kids go?? have to take that into account before starting any venture - perhaps a padded soundproofed room, fully viewable from the bar stool and each child gets wrapped in bubble wrap before entering and throw them in
