Just wondering is there any way of using emulators/homebrew on it and what is the best way?

    Also any games to reccomend?

Not sure if your first thing can be discussed, but I can certainly recommend some GC games.

What sort of games are you into?

I loved both Pikmin games on the GC - they would be a good start - the Mario Kart GC game has it's critics but it's still a good Kart game.

Luigis mansion is a strange one but oddly addictive.

I kinda miss the cube - although my Wii basically is one if I want it to be.

Oh - Metroid Prime - how could I forget.

oh sorry if thats out of bounds.

    Cheers for the reccomendations

Bought it primarily for the Zelda games but had a Ps2 last few years so missed out on the gamecube

Forgot about Zelda - always worth buying.

I am not sure the GC could be chipped in the same way as the others - uses different size discs to thwart the copiers. However I am sure that someone found a way as they always do.

You can get cases for it that will take a normal size dvd, but i'm not sure about chipping or anything. I'd say ebay is your best bet for picking up games for it, I'm sure theres a good few bargains to be found. As for reccomendations: Pikmin, Zelda, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid, Super Smash Bros Melee. Theres some really good games on the cube. I got my cube last March and it's one of my fave systems.

You cannot have a gamecube collection without Metroid Prime (both, but first is probably better) and Resident Evil 4.

You cant play homebrew gamecube games on the cube, but you can play them on the Wii but a bit of work needed.

Game recommendations: (to add to the already great suggestions)

    Starfox adventures and assault.
    Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2
    F Zero GX
    Battalion Wars
And you can get the collectors edition Zelda which gives you the classics:
The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask for less than a tenner on ebay.
