I know this is very un Irish of me but i really would rather stay out of the pub and do something a bit different this year for Patricks day. i have a great group of friends and we have done the whole paint ballin thing. has anyone got any suggestions as to what a group of ten or twelve 25-28 year olds could do for the day instead of getting wasted in the pub. something fun and a bit different

    Aran Islands

I've done it on St Patricks day, it's a good day out. Cycle out to the fort, the name escapes me at the minute

Well there is this thing called BODA BORG in Carrick on Shannon, Lough Key Forest Park.
It may be a bit childish but if your up for a bit of team work and fun its good!
Also onsite theres a history walk, trails and also boats you can rent out to go out on the lake.
You can make a day out of it i guess but again a little childish!

Dun Angus, lovely spot on a sunny day. There is also some nice beaches to walk on.

I'm not pimping this company, it's just the only one I know but I'm sure there are others.

Head to the Shannon and take a cruise.
With a few of ye, it's quite affordable. And it's not exactly peak season so haggle for a deal!

Edit, I did it for a week and from their website they only quote for a week.
But maybe you can work something out if you don't want it that long
