Tom Delonge stratocaster

Hi all,does anyone know where I could get a tom delonge strat? I cant find one anywhere. all help appreciated,cheers

It was discontinued years ago. So keep an eye on ebay and other classified ads.

hey thanks for the help,yep i do,dont know why,i just think its sweet(for punk) crap for everything else though. Il go in and have a chat with them and see if they have one,cheers

it really was yeeeears ago, theres a lower end sig model too i think, but yeah i havnt seen or heard of one in a long time,

2nd hand or ebay prob the best bet chrisguitars .com too or something is ok hanvt been on that site ina while either

Yea i believe i remember seeing one on chrisguitars AGES ago. Doubt its still there but worth a shot.

It was discontinued because he stopped endorsing Fender and switched to Gibson. His Gibson sig costs a couple of thousand... :eek:

I didnt know you Tom Delonge was until i googled him.
OP are you sure you dont want to get a different guitar? Tom hasnt got alot of credability and you will be a laughing stock if anyone sees you with this and recognises it.

Wasn't the Delonge stratocaster just a regular yellow strat with a single 'bucker in the bridge?.

I'd recomend a normal HSS strat over the TD signature anyway. Not only will you be scalped on the price, but it will NOT be worth the cash.

You would be better off with a USA Highway One Strat second hand or a Jap or Mexican Strat. Just take out the neck pickup and put on a scratchplate for one humbucker bridge pickup.

That second one is even more expensive than the first one......why???

The first one is a Squire, the second one is a Fender.

I have my squire still with a hotrails in the bridge, heavy strings and CGCFAD and it is a monster, noise-wise. Never use the neck and middle pickups, as they are crap.
I would reccomend this route. More of a punk sensibility about having a cheap ass guitar anyway I'd have thought, rather than some endorsee sell out sig model?
Plus whilst jumping around the stage and thrashing the crap out of it you don't want to be concerned with minding your sig model!!
