Stolen Guitar Amp in Limerick. Fender Pro Sonic

    I know, I know, stolen gear in Limk, bait for ye!

    All jokes aside, was gigging last night, and the bass player got a text from a mate of his to say his amp was stolen from his car. a 2x12 Fender Pro Sonic.

    So, if any of ye are offered an amp like this for what seems like cheap money or it looks a bit suspicious, could ye PM me?

    Odds are slim I'd imagine, but you'd never know..

    I'll keep an eye on adverts and buyandsell as well...

    I'm not sure exactly where it was stolen from, but in the city I think, as I only found out last night off my mate when we were packing up to go home. So I mentioned I'd stick up a thread on boards. I also asked him to see if he could get the serial number, so if I get any more info tomorrow, I'll post it up here.

    Really sorry to hear that dude. I know that feeling only too well myself.

    It would be worth your while going into Cash Converters opposite the bus station. Tell your mate to bring a pic of the amp if he has one. Also keep an eye in The Market, buy and sell, ebay and the local classifieds.

    If I come across anything myself I will get in touch with you. Hope you mate gets it back.

    Sorry to hear about the amp man.

    Chances are it was someone who doesn't have a clue what it is so keep an eye on cash converters and pawn shops alike.

    A mate of mine had a Marshall cab and head stolen which he found 2 months later in cash converters window on Thomas Street.

    Those guys'll buy anything.
