Pod X3 Live problem

Hi, I got a Pod x3 about a month ago but I'm having some problems with it. The main issue is sometimes (It appears to happen randomly) it starts just going through every menu,preset there is. The sound itself doesnt change but the screen is constantly changing. Also, while this is happening the footswitches wont work.
I've tried turning it off and on, got the updates but still no joy. Often I'll turn it back on and it will just do it again.

Aside from this, the footswtiches tend to stop working sometimes. Even if the thing with the screen isnt happening.
Also, but this isnt as big a problem, when the volume pedal is fully in the heel position there can still be some sound heard depending on where it the actual unit is (I'm guessing this is related to the fact its controlled by a light sensor?)

HAs anyone had any similer problems? Its completely unreliable and I'm most likely going to return it unless there's a better solution
