Heard this earlier..... that guy has some serious anger management issues.

The Director of Photography must be some tool to bear the brunt of that outburst though. I would have rammed whatever bulb I was changing up Bales a$$. That would have given him something to rant on about.

Very professional - and what's with the fake American accent doesn't he remember where he's actually from? I know he likes to stay in character but he even puts on that accent in interviews. One of the most over-rated actors alive today IMO.

Some of his words:

During the row, Welsh-born Bale's accent fluctuates between American and English.

At the beginning of the recording, Bale fumes: 'I'm gonna kick your f**king a**.

'I want you off the f**king set, you p***k. No don't just be sorry, think for one f**king second. What the f**k are you doing?'

When the film's assistant director Bruce Franklin attempts to calm the actor down, Bale is unrepentant.

He continued: 'Do I f**king walk around and rip... no, shut the f**k up Bruce... Do I...? No. No. Don't shut me up. Am I gonna walk around and rip your f**king lights down in the middle of a scene? Then why the f**k are you walking right through?

'What the f**k is it with you? What is it that you don't f**king understand. You got any f**king idea that, hey, it's f**king distracting having someone walking up behind Bryce in the middle of the f**king scene.'

After Hurlbut presumably praises the scene, Bale hits back: 'Good for you, I hope it was f**king good for you because it's useless now. For F**k's sake man, you're an amateur.'

Bale then turns to director McG for his input, but it appears the latter is reluctant to get involved.

McG is heard saying: 'I didn't see it happen.'

Bale said: 'Well someone should be f**king watching him and keeping an eye on him. 'Cos it's the second time that he doesn't give a f**k about what is going on in front of the camera.'

After appearing to calm down, Bale tells the cameras to start rolling again, but soon erupts again when someone suggests he takes some time out to restore his mood.

He said: 'Let's not take a f**king minute, let's go again and let's not have you walking f**king in.

'You're unbelievable. The amount of times you're f**king strolling around in the background. I've never had a DP behave like this.

'I'm gonna f**king kick your f**king a** if you don't shut up for a second. Do you want me to go and f**king trash your lights? Do you want me to trash 'em? Then why are you trashing my scene.

'You are trashing my scene. If you do that one more f**king time, I ain't walking on this set if you're still hired. I'm f**king serious.

'You're a nice guy, you're a nice guy, but that don't f**king cut it if you're bulls**ting around like this on set.'

The recording ends on a cutting last comment from Bale to Hurlbut: 'Seriously, you and me, we're f**king done professionally.'

Last year, his former publicist and adviser Harrison Cheung told the Mail on Sunday that Bale had trouble controlling his temper.

Referring to Bale's days as a teen actor, he said: 'If something wasn’t just so, Christian would just erupt. He would yell until he was red in the face. It was very intimidating.

'When he filmed a movie called Metroland with Emily Watson, his nickname on set was Tandy because he was always throwing tantrums.'

Well I thought the most impressive thing about him was his weight loss for the Machinist and then bulking up for Batman Begins. I suppose that kind of physical stress takes it's toll mentally.

For anyone who hated him before this backs up their view. For those who liked him, if you have any sense, it'll diminish the respect you had for him.
No one, even if they genuinely make a mistake in a job, deserve to be spoken to like that. If a boss has no right to do it, what gives him the right to do so? He obviously thinks very highly of himself.

seriously though, i always thought he looked like a freak, far too comfortable and easy playin american psycho....especially that scene with the two strippers, where hes shaggin them but makin faces in the mirror :eek::eek::eek: my first thought on seeing that was "hes done that before"

Bale is a class actor, definately not over-rated.Nice rant if i say so myself

I love how people are jumping on Bale about how it was unprofessional and they wouldnt act that way in their jobs, is anyone on here the star of a movie that made a billion quid? or the star of a franchise movie worth over 300 million coming out next summer? no? quiet then the guy might have been at the end of a 12 hour day out in the desert for all we know and its clear from the audio that it wasnt the first time the DP did something stupid

This "foul-mouthed actor going over the top at cast / crew" has been on the go for years. It's for publicity... nothing else!
