Who posted them up? He should have stated what amps are used too.

But might be usefull to try.

These are hilarious. It reminds me of when I was first getting into guitar and didn't realise how different various amps were. I love that "Distortion on" and "Overdrive on" are seperate settings. Purple Haze especially makes no sense - why is the drive so high on a "Vintage" track? It was using a Fuzz Face, so I guess you need to drive an amp pretty hard until it gets in any way fuzzy. Also why are the mids so high? Plug in Baby too uses a Fuzz Factory... also definitely not too high on the mids.

You're not missing much, some guy or gal wasted a whole bunch of time posting settings for various songs without refering to what amp he was on about.
This is akin to someone posting how many turns it will take of each tuning peg to get a guitar exactly in tune...

Very handy site if you're looking for the tones of your favourite artists, such as "PENTERA" and "STEVE VAL"

Edit: And, of course, Dep Leppard!

And these spellings aren't typos, they appear more than once!

It seems to me to be alist that some guy posted for himself to remind himself of the settings. But otherwise its kinda ridiculous.

    I was waiting to read:

    INSANE SETTING!

    treble at 10
    mid at 10
    bass at 10
Boss metal zone set at 10
    low at max
    mid at 10
    mid freg. distortion at max
    vol set at 10

Must be some sort of christian tribute band:pac:

Christian Black Metal exists according to wikipedia.............and wikipedia is almost as infallible as the number 42 being answers to things.

Some guitarists only need one setting on their amps - Off.
