Ramsey getting a hard time from the Cardiff fans early on, seems to be affecting him a bit.

I'm watching it off this one, but to be honest it's coming and going at the moment. Hopefully someone else will have a better stable stream. It might get better here......hopefully.

Yeah, could do with the same. Don't have Setanta.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 279 ✭✭TheNorthBank

    Its on Setanta Ireland lads.
Eboue just booked for diving. I still Can't believe we turned down a bid for him.
On the plus side though Kieren Gibbs looks fantastic.

Eboue has issues. He even dived when he lost control of the ball in the box with no players within 5 yards of him. He just sees the box and automatically hits the deck. Moron.

Bendtner is really showing how bad a player he is during this game.

Eboue really is his own worst enemy, surely someone should take him aside and tell him to stop the fcuking diving.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,926 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

vp's forgotten how to shoot from open play from 30 yds

    pity that...

He's just a really poor player who's even out of his depth against Cardiff as is Bendtner! (Sorry Frisbee lol :p)

id imagine arsenal fans collectively shudder when they see bendtner and eboue in a starting line-up.

song would normally bring the same shudders, but he's having a decent game. having to cover for ramsey's shocker and all

How bad is his passing though? Jesus for a lad playing at such a high level he can't pass to save his life.

Wilshire was 4 when Wenger became Arsenal manager.
    Ha, that is unbelievable.

Feck, this was our chance to get one over on Villa.
With them being forced to a replay and an extra game that could have helped.
Disappointing performance aside from Song, Diaby and Gibbs.
    Once again no Vela...

I think Vela got ill during the warm up, was due to be on the bench though. I'm not the biggest fan of song but he did pretty well today as did Diaby when he came on. I was very impressed with Gibbs I must say, he looks like he's going to be a fantastic player. The future looks great with players like Vela, Wiltshire, Gibbs and Ramsey etc... Its just the here and now I'm worried about. :(

    +1 on Song and Gibbs

Granted it was against a tiring, Championship side but Song dominated the 2nd half.

Gibbs surprised me. His passing and attacking weren't great but he had more composure than the rest of the backline put together. He's got a great tackle by the looks of it too.

Anyone ever hear of a lad named Oguzhan Ozyakup? Came off the bench and scored two for the youth team yesterday.

You can't just type random letters and expect people to believe its a real player.

NOTW back page today that Wemger is going to put a bid in for Micah Richards. I'd be veru happy with that but it is the NOTW so its probably all lies

Lads the last thing we need is Micah Richards.
We already have enough players who spend half their season on the treatment table.

Yeah i think he came from somewhere in the Netherlands. Was signed in the summer i believe. Highly rated wonderkid, one for the future, next Zidane etc. etc....

Signed him from AZ over the summer. A tall, elegant, attacking central midfielder by most accounts. He's of Turkish descent but captains the Dutch U17 iirc.

West Brom/Burnley at home. Good good.

I'd be fairly confident of putting out Cardiff at the Emirates. Another game isn't ideal but at least they're still in it.

Another crack at Burnley is a possibility. Hurrah.

Not a bad draw mate. Hopefully we get past Cardiff and possibly face Burnley in a cup game again. I would like to see a stronger team than today tbh. Vela to start would be brilliant and I would like to see Amaury Bishoff start. Been itching for that, heard he is a very very good player.

According to a report in The People this morning, "Arsenal have made an enquiry about French midfield starlet Mohamed Diame."

The 21-year-old French defensive midfielder is believed to be worth 5.5 million pounds and would complement the signing of Andrei Arshavin from Zenit St Petersburg.

Diame joined Rayo Vallecano in the summer and has played 19 games this season claiming one goal in the win over Alaves in September. He was also sent-off in the 2-0 defeat to Elche last month for picking up two yellow cards.

The 6.0ft defensive midfielder is according to IMScouting "a very talented defensive midfielder, who reminds scouts of Osasuna's Sunny (on loan from Valencia). He has already attracted interest from several big teams in Spain and has the potential to play at the highest European level. He signed for two years at Rayo in the summer of 2008, and renewed his contract until 2012 in October. His release clause is 6 million euros, but Rayo would be ready to sell him for 2-3 million euros."

IMScouting's network of scouts in Spain, add: "In terms of ability, Diame is a strong and true fighter, an aggressive, tireless worker in the center of the field. He controls with both feet, which makes it easy for him to escape pressure and send accurate long balls to the attack. His greatest ability is aerial domination, as he has a very good natural jump. He is also technically skilled, knows when to release the ball at the right time which is very important for his position and he can join the attack on set pieces. Diame has perfect tactical positioning, just in front of the defensive line and he almost never loses his position."

    Anyone heard of him?

I wonder will Eduardo make an appearance in the Cardiff replay?
