Spot metering CM? Nice pic,did you use your new lighting setup?
Yeah, spot metering - and was using the lights.
1 of my 200w lights at low power into a reflective umbrella to the left, another one, shoot through on low power to the right using fall off from the umbrella to light the bg. Taken at f/8 lol
Minimum focus distance ftw!
Suppose I'll add the pp details too:
In Lightroom: Crop + rotate, and a custom preset made from the 300v1 preset already existing
In Photoshop: B&W adjustment layer [Reds 172, Yellows 80, rest status quo] set to soft light, High pass sharpen layer [7.0 pixel radius] set to overlay.

Snowy theme:
My wife took this yesterday, she did a good job !, ie. she bravely picked up the E510 (on manual mode) !, it had an old Nikon 135mm lens on (at F5.6) !, where the lens is manual focussing aswell !, it just happened to have the right shutter speed, ISO, white-balance from the previous power-up !, so all-in-all her pics turned out OK.

Messing around with models just before Christmas (not as exciting as that sounds). I've since got an external flash and a tripod, which would have been handy to have at the time. This is taken handheld, using cheap led lights and a slightly drunken photographer.
