Depends on your budget really... How much you looking to spend?

Take a trip into a music store and play around cause alot of guitars on the low end f things can vary in quality, its best to play a load and pick the best of what you feel suits you. Also try to bring someone that plays guitar, could be a big help!

I suppose about 150 - 200 euro because I might not keep it up, just something I wanna try! Waltons the best place to go?

    Avoid waltons at all cost...

XMusic out by the red cow have a good all round selection, music maker in town if you can't make it out that way...

Once you pick it up get yourself a few lessons to start and remember, youtube is your friend!

yeah as he said stay away from waltons. go to musician (x-music as it is now known). The best thing to do is bring someone along you plays guitar, someone who has been playing a while and will know what are good brands. If you don't have someone, then have a look at all the guitars around your price range and come back here and post the brands of the guitars. We can let you know then which make is good and bad.

Yamaha, Tanglewood and Simon&Patrick do some decent starting guitars
