There is usually a couple for sale on ebay every month or two, they're rare but not that rare. I wouldn't bother even looking at one from Australia, shipping anything to/from there costs a fortune. And I wouldn't even look at an ebay ad from someone with 0 feedback.

They are expensive mostly because of their rarity/collectability, like a vintage guitar or something... i.e. they are not a practical purchase from a value for money point of view.

If you just want a great sounding Mark-series, you'd be better off with a MKIV. Or the new MKV, which looks awesome (lets hope it sounds awesome :pac:)

Thought it was something to yap about. Mesa Studio 22+ will do me.
Although the Mark V has the old Mark ranges inside it somewhere.
