I only recently came across this forum after it was mentioned here on boards (I know, I must have been living under a rock for the past 5 years :rolleyes: or maybe I don't scour the internet searching for hentai)

Anyway, I've come to realise that 4chan is a force to be reckoned with. After all, it has spawned the infamous "lolcats" and charming characters like Pedobear that are now ubiquitous across the web. At first I admired the freedom allowed on the forum, but every thread decends into a trading of insults and nothing can ever be discussed seriously, which admittedly provides an entertaing read!

My fave forum is the travel one where every second poster is some American teenage nerd whinging about the USA and how he wants to move to Japan because Asian chics are hot :pac: I also noticed that the posters refer to themselves as "Britfag" or "Dutchfag" depending on their nationality. Whats that about?
Anyone out there want to educate me more on 4chan or want to share their thoughts on it?

It's retarded and they jack off to drawings of kids having sex. Simple as that.

It's alright, the oddtimes there's some genuinely funny threads but it's mainly full of kids. As I said before I really just use it for some good rapidsh*t.

4chan is like the buttplug of the internet in that it holds all the **** inside the rectums so it doesn't spray out all over. When 4chan goes down, it's like the internet has explosive diarrhea.

Sums it up right there. Been to the site a few times, don't understand it and I simply don't like it. Definately nsfw.

I have spent quite a lot of time lurking 4chan, as someone mentioned above, its full of kids but once in a blue moon you find an epic thread. /r/ is quite helpful (*cough* especially for porn star identification *cough*)

I used to browse it but got tired of the amount of utter crap that's posted on it now. Sure the occasional funny meme is spawned there, but it's not worth putting up with 99% ****e for 1% goodness. Besides any good memes that start there end up all over the net anyway.
