What COD game are you playing.

IM just wondering if people are all playing COD WAW or COD4 still. Im looking to get one of them and I am wondering if COD 4 is dieing out in favour of COD WaW.

get Cod 4 if you like decent weapons and more action. get Cod 5 if you're more into the world war "ancient" crappy type weapons, and where the maps are so big u spend half the time running around just trying to find someone. Trust me, i have both of them, gave Cod 5 a good run but it just doesn't even come close to 4 imo.

I still play both equally, Cod 4 is still brilliant and i love the modern weaponry and so on as the name suggests, Cod 5 imo is also a brilliant game, personally the big maps are a nice addition although when I started playing first and didn't know my way around the maps I was lost for a while trying to find people to shoot me, (I was rubbish at the start, getting a bit better now) My recommendation to you would be if you can afford it buy both. They are totally different imo as modern warfare and ww2. either way I think you will enjoy.

playing call of duty 4 until i reach leve 10 prestige..on level 6 at the moment, once i've finished i'll prob pick up WAW unless modern warfare 2 is out by then..

still think 4 is the better game!

World at War, addicted to the Eastern Front levels on War mode. Awesome.

Haven't played COD4 in a few months, probably won't play it again to be honest. Not online anyway, might give the SP a 'proper' whirl when I've loads of time over the summer.

Having said that, I also said that about SOF2 and it's now 5 years later.

COD4. Especially now that I admin one server so I get to kick people and shout the rules out and say noob all I want. Never had a power trip before so I'm enjoying this one.

I had a feeling this might turn into a COD4 is better than COD5 thread.
What im really wondering is witch game has the most lasting power.
SHould I buy a game thats our over a year or the new game.
Looking at todays Xfire stats its seems that COD 4 has a longer life span even year later.

Counter-Strike: Source 991,380

Seems even COD2 has more life left in it than COD5.

I think it depends on which genre you prefer. I liked COD4 a lot and played it online daily even though I was never terribly interested in modern conflict games, but now that World at War's out I haven't played it in ages and probably won't again, because I prefer the WW2 genre. It looks better, is grittier, and feels better then COD2 as well, which I went back to out of interest and found quite lacking online - it feels too....arcade for want of a better word.

If you're not genre specific, then yeah hands down COD4 is the better game - I doubt anyone would say otherwise. If you have an inkling for WW2 shooters though, World at War is excellent and for me, more enjoyable then COD4 (and a good progression from COD2). Not because it's inherently a better game but just as a preference.

the whole WW2 thing is one of the reasons i wasnt mad on previous COD games, im still playing COD modern warfare and had a bash at the new one, didnt really like it much.,

cod2 revival going on atm coz its a better game then cod4 competitive wise, even if it is riddled with hackers

Well i havent really played it but I hear there is a map where players can get under the map, a well known glitch and its abused a lot.

^^^That happens in MW too. They can get above you, run around on an invisible ceiling and shoot till then run out of ammo. Haven't come across many people that do this though.

Totally agree. new maps are great but the nerds with all the glitches hiding under maps and in walls call be very annoying especially in harcore when its hard to notice.

In Roundhouse and castle there is a glitch to get under the map and in Airfield theres a floating glitch where youy float to the top of the map.
