Wedding in Donegal

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has been to a wedding in either Redcaslte or Ballylifin in Donegal? What do you think of them, we are keen on both but have heard mixed reports. The room in Redcastle is amazing, but we hear the service isnt, the room in Ballylifin isnt great, but we hear the service is. Help!!!

I assue you've probaby booked something by now but anyway I was at a wedding in the redcastle in March 2007. The room is obviously fantastic and I don't remember the service being bad nor do I recall it being fantastic. But it was a great wedding, so much so that we have booked it for our reception in Oct 2009.

Well Martin,

we're booked in for July 09, so I'll let you know how we get on.
We were at a wedding there last year and it was great. Lovely setting, service seemed spot on but then again I wasn't really looking out for anything at the time!
