    Doesn't the Garda have anything along the lines of PTI's to put together training programmes for lads looking to go on Selection?

    Sure why would I leave first line policing to get extra money, respect and a big gun? :P

    on that note, what sort of money are eru's on? ive been told that gardai with a gun licence get an extra allowance?

    eru's are rarely spotted outside their natural environment, they are fed small scraps of meat and let out for a run in the mornings.:D


    No extra money for carrying a firearm, but there is a derisory weekly allowance for appointed detectives.

    Was thinking of breaking it down even more.. Do it over 24 weeks, so atleast that will half the required exercises.

    This is probably quite late since you may have already followed the programme or decided not to. If you are gonna follow that programme, don't try break it down. It's a high intensity programme for a very good reason and you'd benefit immensely from following it, however you either follow the programme or you don't. Breaking it down will result in you not getting the results you should be getting.
