How can I find a Vat Reg number from Company Reg Number?

I have a company registration number but I need to get their VATREG# Is there somewhere online I can check this?

They may not be vat reged.
It will be on notepaper or invoices

There's no database available to search for a companies VAT number.
Companies don't typically make VAT numbers publically available as it leaves them open to fraud.
It will be on their invoices, but may not be on other documents issued by them.
